Don’t do it! Multi sport athletes is where it’s at! Controlling the entire year for specific athletes is not the answer. Let the kids learn and experience as many sports as possible. Plenty of time to specialize for those who choose to take the next step!

I really do think more midwest states should allow HS spring ball: -It's better for kids recruiting (college coaches can do true evals at these practices) -Will help states be even more competitive on a national level with those who already allow spring ball.

I really feel for high school athletes in Illinois.They have followed the rules in the weight rooms and when they have been allowed to practice. Most of them play out of state on the weekends. No issues I know of locally with young athletes and Covid. Let families choose!

You can’t get them right all the time Marc! Two great safeties ahead of me as a young player at Iowa so what do you do? Find other ways to make an impact. Specials teams film study and time before and after each practice working special teams technique is over looked by too many!

@PatHarty Social media is not going to bring about unity. Clearly it has brought about awareness but some care to solve problems and others just want to create more problems. Hopefully the people who care the most and have enough respect for each other can get together and move forward.

I’ll start.......I was the 3rd guy to jump on Warren in celebration. As the rest of the team piled on our celebration went from excitement to pure panic as the guys at the bottom of the pile were getting crushed. Lots of yelling coming from the bottom of that pile.......

I am waiting to find out Nick Saban has interviewed with one of these NFL teams looking for a head coach. The last time he had his foot half way out the door I walked off the field my last time as a Hawkeye beating his LSU Tigers. Alabama looked sloppy and unprepared! Reasons?

Old 37 has come a long ways in 9 weeks learning how to play on his feet. He knows who Pat Angerer is and that is who he needs to play like! Project him as a college LB who can cover and rush. Great strength with hands and physicality for a Sophomore!

@BlairRIVALS @LoganLee45 @marcmorehouse From my small sample size of tape I got to see of Lee I would say he will be great at DE. He absolutely dominated the game from the defensive line. Some what reminds me of a Matt Roth body type. His motor is also similar to Roth’s. Good company to be in......

Second year in a row we’ve had a freshmen on the varsity in Byron. This one just happens to be my oldest son! It’s amazing how much further ahead some of these kids are these days compared to when I played! Morning workouts with Dad start Monday! Great season Cado!
