When 3142A has a baby w/ a bag over it’s head-you go into hero mode-and forget there’s still snow/ice under the mud pile as you climb over the 4 barbwire fence, slip, grab hold of the one hotwire to catch yourself… and rip your jeans. Ninja cat reflexes fading. Calf’s fine.

Sometimes it’s the small victories that bring the most joy. Despite a normal birth, this little Franchise was slow get going. He just would not suck… even a bottle. After a couple days of tubing, he’s now got it mastered. A big accomplishment. Persistence….don’t give up.

One our goldens got hit last night; found her lying along the road. Accidents happen. When they do, please do the right thing- tell the owner. Don’t make the kids drive up and find their hit dog. It’s not that hard to do and will be appreciated. Aspen was on the right.
