I want my son to experience a very tough year or two (little playing time, struggles with consistency). I want his coach to ride him and hold him accountable. I want kids to talk trash to him. I want to teach him that confidence is his responsibility.
See a lot of posts about pitchers and what they are UP to. Best pitchers I have ever coached were not up to 92-95. They were successful because they were WINNERS and knew how to COMPETE! I brag on my players...not because the velo but the OUTS and WINS.
It is times like this that it is so easy to let disappointment eat you alive! I have coached some of the best players and young men of character throughout my career. I have a great family who loves and supports me! I am a blessed man! This is what defines me!
This is a hard day, but I am blessed I got to experience the journey with these
@baseballcshs
young men. These guys were little league all-stars when I got here. The first group I knew as kids. Thank you guys for everything you have taught me an contributed to this program!
Fortnite.....How do you make me a better hitter, pitcher, fielder? When i could be spending time reaching my goal. Or better yet, how can you make me a more constructive young man at home or in the community? You can’t!? Dang.
Thank you Lord for the blessings you give me today...for the health and safety of my family...for giving me the opportunity to spend more quality time with my family...for opening our eyes to what we sacrifice on a daily basis and sometimes don’t stop to appreciate. Amen
I am so proud of my guys today! I ask them to be warriors and to be UNCOMMON. To PEAK through exposure of a tough schedule and to trust the process! The loss hurts, but they have peaked and play championship baseball. Best series ever!! Love you guys!

Y’all better quit handing them cheap rings out every weekend for consolation! What’s he gunna tell his son? “Back when I was 10, I worked hard all week to get second place and I got all these green rings to show for it!”

And this my friends, is another example of why our country needs high school sports! Live by their example and drown out the noise! We need relationships! All of us together.
Kid avoided reaching out to schools and really didn’t want us to. Didn’t want to worry about it. HE WANTED TO FOCUS ON PLAYING HIS BEST FOR HIS TEAM with no distractions. Let that sink in. That is VERY UNCOMMON these days. Colleges….the door is open now
I have a pitcher that has recently just received a FULL to a P-5 program. Soon to commit. He was scheduled to throw yesterday evening. Dude showed up at the weight room yesterday at lunch to lift before the game! UNCOMMON goals?!? You had better have an UNCOMMON regimen!
Consistently giving yourself the opportunity to win championships. Boys leaving every ounce of sweat between the lines! How many that place expectations on these young men have that ring on their finger? It is the most difficult task ever! The opportunity is a blessing. TY21
Nothing beats the feeling of seeing your son or daughter get their first career hit. I figure we have about 50,000 more of these so we are packing a lunch! Special day.

Young players… you need to watch the The Captain. A lot of HS guys in area are more talented than he was in HS. He became the best WINNER ever for a reason. Figure it Out!

Delay this thing and give everyone a rest and go at it fresh. See who the best squad is. Other teams need to stand together for that team. Whoever wins it didn’t win it the right way. It is tarnished at this point.
Not to mention, the last 17 hitters were retired in order by the
@ThePHSBaseball
bullpen. Great job
@CoachDLC_7
and the pitching staff! 17 was the magic number!
Somebody better recognize and grab up
@jaxsonslanker34
and
@KyleWalsh05
Dudes are nasty competitors with a nose for the ball and an Ivy League IQ for the game! Dudes are winners! Could watch them play all day!
