This is sad. Of course you expect the odd one that could genuinely be missed but this was one of many that we repaired after today’s roll up. Left un-repaired disease can quite easily form and then become the second photo, fusarium spread on weak turf by un-repaired pitch marks

Still much further to go with the greens to get them how we would like them! This was my 1st week in the job, weeks earlier many of the greens was vandalised by glyphosate. Last picture shows how rigorous over-seeding and removing contaminated material has improved them.

Really good progress on our woodland project this week. Native species of shrubs and trees still to put back in. The construction of our pathways will continue into next week. We can then build the 3 tier planter with old tree trunks in area marked yellow. Really exciting project

Not far off being ready for turfing on Tuesday. This job has been a real test of knowledge with so many variables on the drainage in/out etc. Such little fall to work with too so the laser levels was a great addition. Almost there 💪🏻 staff have worked very hard on this project

15ft deep irrigation mainline burst under a 4k ton historic soil and rubble tip! 6x valve replacements all over the course and at least 10 more issues to fix including failing borehole and storage tank leak. Problem after problem! Bowser being delivered as a backup! 🙏

Surfaces really starting to recover and tighten up after a scarify/core recently. @Soil_Scout technology is now installed and buried within the greens whilst also working a treat. It’s pretty awesome to have important data at your fingertips 24/7 for better overall practices 🏌🏼‍♂️

9 days on my own this wall has taken to build. Collecting stone, sand & cement from the local suppliers bag at a time on the trailer, cropping the odd stone, mixing and building. Just a small return to finish on the right hand side and then it’s done, thankfully! Quite happy! 😁

Amazing scenery today! Had a very productive morning spraying all bunker surrounds with a wetter and then watered in. Sprayed greens/aprons with a feed also. Managed to play golf last night for the first 14 holes after my surgery last September 😁 Happy days!
