Did you know the first man to introduce handwashing in medicine was punished for it? Ignaz Semmelweis’ order that doctors wash their hands before handling patients reduced mortality rates but angered the doctors, who felt accused of being dirty.
Carbon is an element that flows in and out of all living things on the planet. The carbon cycle is, in some ways, the story of all existence on earth. We are collaborating with Fulbright Nehru scholar Jay Barber to organise a long-term writing workshop for young adults!
