On April 14, Tippecanoe High School senior Carson Robbins passed away after a brief, hard-fought illness.
Monday, a group of Troy High School students visited Tippecanoe with a signed banner of support for Tippecanoe High School students.
You are in our thoughts and prayers!
Seniors, you will never be forgotten. You have helped lead us through one of the most difficult times in the history of American education. When we have needed you the most, you have given your very best. Please continue to be a guiding light for our district.

The Troy City Schools would like to send their deepest sympathies and prayers to Vandalia-Butler superintendent Robert O'Leary, his family and the entire

It was a record-setting night for the Troy girls track and field team Wednesday night!
Junior Leah Harnish (left) set a school record in the 100-meter dash, breaking the record set in 1981, while senior Sophie Fong broke the pole vault record set in 2009!
Congratulations!!!
Troy travels to Cincinnati Withrow tonight for a Division II regional playoff game!

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we inform the Troy community of the passing of Forest Elementary School guidance counselor Soraya Rivadeneira, who passed away Sunday evening in an automobile accident. All of our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
Congratulations to Troy High School science teacher Jason Orsborne, the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Educator of the Year!
We’ll have more information on this honor early next week!
Nothing sounds sweeter than the Troy band playing the alma mater after a Trojan win! Troy beats Butler 35-14, then thanks
@THSBigRedRumble
#TheTrojanWay
We are going to beat this. Why? Because of education. We have people who worked hard in school their entire lives for this moment. We need our best and brightest now more than ever. Soon, you will be our best and brightest. We will need you. We believe in you.

2016 Troy High School graduate Austin Jacobs will graduate from the U.S. Air Force Academy in May and begin his career in the Air Force as a second lieutenant. He will attend flight school, where he will continue to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a fighter pilot.
Day Six: Many of you are hurting. Never be afraid to ask for help. Sometimes it takes more courage to ask for help than to try to deal with things on your own. The weather is beautiful and so are you. Don't lose sight of either of those things.
#TrojanFamily
#TheTrojanWay
Real talk: This isn’t what we wanted, but we know it’s what has to be done. We love our buildings filled with a cacophony of student voices. But we WILL get through this. We are Trojans. Together, we can do amazing things. We’ve got this.
#TheTrojanWay
Troy High School and the Troy City Schools would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Troy High School sophomore LaVante Williams:
Troy Board of Education member Michael Ham’s story of his relationship with Troy teachers Scot Brewer and Gene Steinke appeared in today’s edition of the Dayton Daily News.
Thomas Sedam, a Troy graduate and corrections officer for the Miami County Sheriff’s Department, passed away June 4 at the age of 50.
His former coworkers greeted his daughter, Kristin, Thursday and walked her to class on the first day of her junior year at Troy High School. ❤️
Kids, please know how much we care about you. We will continue to do everything in our power to educate you and support you in all you do. No amount of distance can stop us from caring. You are loved. ❤️
#TrojanFamily
#ForeverTroy
Students, we know how upset you are to be deprived of the chance to learn today. Make the most of the day by shoveling your elderly neighbor’s driveway, reading a good book or calling a loved one to tell them how much you care about them.
#TheTrojanWay
Today is Day 20 of the school year. It is dedicated to our high school seniors, who will graduate in '20. Enjoy every moment of every day that you have remaining. You can't get these days back again. You'll one day look back on these days with great fondness.
#TheTrojanWay
Prior to the start of Saturday's Troy High School boys basketball game, Rosie Conard, a third-grade student at Concord Elementary School, sang the national anthem and absolutely brought the house down!
Great job, Rosie! We are all proud of you!
To ALL of our district employees: Do not despair. This is not a referendum on the jobs you are doing. You are valued. You are appreciated. You are respected. You are loved. Never stop fighting for our kids. We’ll never stop fighting for you.

Due to the prolonged heat wave and expected high temperatures tomorrow, all of Troy City Schools will dismiss two hours early on Friday, Sept. 13. Upper Valley Career Center students will be dismissed at the normal time.
For any local students or parents who need help, mentally, making sense of last night’s horrific shootings in Dayton: Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the Dayton-area community.
For the second time today, our sincerest thanks and appreciation to
@MrCZink
@TippCitySchools

and the Tippecanoe High School staff and students for being so thoughtful in the face of our recent tragedies. We received dozens of letters from students today.
All summer long, there are dozens of people working hard behind the scenes to get the schools ready for the fall and to maintain daily functions within the district. Today, those people were rewarded with a delicious picnic lunch, prepared by our own Food Service staff.
Troy High School Class of 2023 valedictorian Savannah Swanson and salutatorian Luke Huber both were recognized Wednesday evening at the Miami County ESC's Excellence in Education Awards.
There’s no better way to start a Saturday morning than by listening to the

alma mater following a Friday night win, especially on homecoming weekend!
#TheTrojanWay
Congratulations to Sophie Fong (4th in the pole vault) and Leah Harnish (7th in the 400) for placing at state, as well as Jack Kleinhenz (long jump) and Ethan Martin (pole vault) for qualifying for state!
With all they’ve been through, can you blame our seniors from wanting to have some fun their final few days?
Class of 2021: We love you. We’ll miss you. We’ll never forget you.
(Note: Troy High School is not really for sale).
There’s no better way to start your Saturday than with the Troy football team and cheerleaders singing the alma mater following Friday’s win over Sidney!
#TheTrojanWay
A most sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU to every teacher, administrator and staff member who gave all they had to make the first week of school the best they could for our students. You are what makes this district all that it is, a place where excellence is the expectation!
On March 13, our students attended their final day of in-person classes for the year.
Our Food Service Staff continued to feed students in need however, providing free breakfasts and lunches.
We distributed 37,568 lunches and 36,936 breakfasts. Thank you to everyone who helped!
On behalf of the entire Troy City Schools family, our deepest condolences to our neighbor district. All of our thoughts are with you during this tragic time.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Miami East family that suffered a tragic loss today.
The Miami East High School gymnasium will be open beginning at 6pm this evening for anyone that would like to gather as a Viking family.

Serendipitous fact of the day: It's 49 days until the first day of school in Troy. Troy Memorial Stadium was built in '49 (1949, that is). This year, Troy Memorial Stadium will celebrate its 70th anniversary. That's the "platinum anniversary."
We were very proud to partner with
