Tyishaun Woods set new single game school records for most rushing yards 319 and touchdowns with 6.
Congratulations to Senior Drew Smith for winning the National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award. Drew, who is also Salutatorian and has been accepted to the US Air Force Academy, is the 11th consecutive Crusader football player to be recognized with this honor.
Mac Ayres threw 4 TDs (Armahn Hillman 2 receiving TDs, David Baker 2 receiving TDs) and Tyishaun Woods ran for 1 score as Scecina wins at Monrovia 35-21.
Scecina finished 8-1 and 7-0 in conference play. The win clinched a third consecutive conference championship for Scecina.
Thanks on a great job of service to our Seniors from the Class of 2019 who gave of their time to volunteer to play with the kids at Riley Hospital today. Thanks to all the amazing staff and patients at Riley, all of whom, like Fr. Tom, give that little extra every day.

Congratulations to Tyishaun Woods on being selected to play in the IFCA North-South All-Star Game. This season he broke the school record for points in a season, set the school record with 329 rushing yards and 6 TD's in a game and broke the career record for tackles (381)!

Scecina’s victory clinched a share of the 2018 Indiana Crossroads Conference championship. The Crusaders play at Monrovia next Friday.

In addition to a 45-14 victory over new conference foe Cascade, the Class of 1970 was honored for their 50th Anniversary. Several members of the team returned, and they honored their classmate and friend, Coach Ott Hurrle, for his 45 years of service to Scecina with a plaque.
Had a great week at our Scecina Football camp for our future Crusaders. There's a lot of talent and skill but more importantly great attitudes and hard work ethics that help make all these campers successful. Thanks to our current Crusader players and coaches for helping.

Scecina football lost a loyal friend and supporter with the passing of Fr. Peter Gallagher. Scecina Chaplain from 1996-2005, he always remained a Crusader fan. Fr Peter was also the Colts chaplain for many years, including their Super Bowl-winning season.
