Man I love Oklahoma. After falling behind due to hail, my crew and I went from the far east Texas Panhandle, to Northeast of El Dorado, Oklahoma where we saw this cyclic supercell drop 3 separate tornadoes! One of them scoured the red clay and obliterated telephone poles. #okwx

@NWSJacksonMS I’m in Rolling Fork right as we speak and don’t blame people for thinking this could be an EF5. Now I’m not saying “OH ITS AN EF5” but what I’m saying is that there’s damage that is very similar to EF5 damage we’ve seen elsewhere.

@ChilledOutStorm One of mine's the J-4 and K-3 Tornadoes from the 1965 Palm Sunday Outbreak. Two F4's taking nearly identical paths on the ground for 90 and 80 miles! These tornadoes were 30 minutes from each other and when one nearly destroyed something, the other came and finished the job.

“Damage” of the likely QLCS Tornado that hit us at 10:31pm CST at (33.0233312, -97.2570809) in Fort Worth, Texas. All signs were off the ground (by like a foot) for a moment after being anchored by sandbags and dropped back down. All Images have descriptions. @NWSFortWorth

Back in August of 1992, LaPlace, LA got hit by a vicious F3 Tornado. According to the NOAA, they believe the tornado to have gone through the center of LaPlace, missing Reserve and the Belle Pointe subdivision. I believe it took a different path. 🧵(1/5) #wxtwitter

@AshtonHenryWX As of now, It’s minimum max wind speed is higher than bridge creek’s. However, since we don’t know the exact number, it’s hard to tell. We also know that Bridge Creek and 2013 El Reno have higher maximum max wind speeds.

@kirawontmiss I don't think people realize just how powerful tornadoes are nor do they understand just how unpredictable they can be. Sure, the chasers made a mistake of not keeping proper distance, but typically stuff like this does not happen.

@AAdamsWX Tornado Alley hasn't shifted towards dixie, in fact maybe a little more into the mid-west but that's it. Dixie Alley is it's own "tornado alley" that usually has a different tornado season and setups than the tradition, great plains/mid-west, tornado alley.

@Wx_Louisiana *personal take* Well if there was no connection at all, there’s not really a whole lot stopping a pressure drop and strong winds from completely destroying the residence. Once one wall goes, they all go -> winds will blow them away swiftly. The minimum speeds are EF-3 level.

Also, I had the chance of speaking to Dan and Tammy. They were driving out of town when I had met them in their beat up truck and we talked for a bit. They’re fine but their house was “destroyed with anything left being blown to the side the hill that their house was on top of.”

Respectfully, you have no idea what you are talking about. Tornadoes are the most inconsistent forms of weather and are incredibly difficult to detect and warn. People who work at the NWS are people and people can make errors. Surely, as a politician, you'd know about mistakes.
