You know what? I have a more controversial #Noragami take: I would be okay if Yato and Hiyori didn’t get together. The manga is about familial and platonic relationships, not just romantic ones. These three love so hard and so much. That’s what matters most to me. 💕

Let’s get controversial. There are things I don’t like about #Yatori in #Noragami . Yato can be clingy, & it’s weird he read Hiyori’s journal. That was personal. But Yato is healing. He wants to prioritize her happiness. They have room to grow & build trust. That’s what matters.

#Noragami spoilers / #NoragamiEnd I’ve heard people say they don’t get why Hiyori becomes a shinki if she just winds up coming back. It wasn’t a cheap fake-out. Yato had to realize he was hurting her by refusing to cut ties. Hiyori needed time to heal & grow up on her own.

#Noragami / #NoragamiEnd I’m in love with the way Daikoku, who always wanted children, and Mayu, who gave up her life for her daughter, get to play with the children gods and shinki. It’s honestly their best possible ending, and I’m so glad we saw it.
