that claimed the lives of firefighters Victor Budz and Dennis Guenter.
Although smaller and physically distant, we were humbled to honour the service and ultimate sacrifice made 40 years ago.
The Saskatoon Fire Department was honoured to respect the life and career of Fire Chief Darren McClelland of the Swift Current Fire Department.
Humbled, SFD staffed Chief McClelland’s department to provide his crews an uninterrupted service for their proud and devoted leader.

vehicle and a tractor-trailer unit at a high-speed location.
We send thoughts of healing to the members injured and wish for a prompt recovery and return to duty.
Two members were transported to hospital with what are believed to be serious but non-life threatening injuries at this time. We appreciate everyone's messages of support and thoughts. We're thankful that their injuries were not more serious.
