@tannerdaniel77 Tbh, this makes it a lot worse. There are media guidelines for reporting on suicide (and yes, YouTubers and bloggers are a part of the media) and his example of an acceptable euphemism is very controversial and may lead to increased stigma. "Died by suicide" is more appropriate.

I thought being trans was identifying as a different gender than one was assigned, but after denouncing the latest batch of abhorrent remarks from Rowling, I've learned it's actually having long nails, using she/her pronouns, wearing leotards, and condemning antifeminist bigotry.

I still don't really know how to process the fact that a huge portion of the comments on our last video, on the economic colonisation of Ireland, were from conservatives, or even reactionaries, saying "I agree with you completely on this, why are we on separate sides?"

It's extraordinary to cut funding to UNRWA. Not only are they the main source of humanitarian work in Gaza, but they run the schools and healthcare centers in the West Bank, in Palestine refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon, and in Syria where many people are doubly displaced.

This time last year I was staring up at the collapsed ceiling of my kids room while her stuff sat around me flooded and ruined and our slumlord landlord refused to do anything. This year I'm in a warm dry apartment where I'm treated like a person with dignity.
