Should the Marlins give a long look to X. Edwrads at 2B to open up 2024. Sliding Arraez to 1B & Bell to DH quite often?? I vote yes. Especially vs RHP.

Look for Luis Arraez to see a lot of time at First Base while Jorge Soler's out. Josh Bell should be the primary DH.. ..This would allow Xavier Edwards to play everyday at Second. Hopefully Soler can return soon, but in the meantime the Rookie should be entrusted in the Lineup.

Reminder the Marlins went 13-28 midway through July/all of August last Season and still made the Playoffs, including dropping 8 in a row post AS Break. Stretches like these happen over 162, the Fish just happened to start their yr under one. It's how you bounce back that defines

With the news of Jazz moving to CF, could that mean we see a Platoon in LF. With Bryan De La Cruz & Sanchez or Bleday?? ..With Jesús Sanchez having a leg up not only because he's out of Options, but because he's outperformed Bleday up this point in both the Majors and Triple-A.

Something lost in the Pinch Hitting and then lack of Pinch Hitting in the 9th. Jazz Chisholm Jr. Never got that Final AB. It was more important for Stallings and Rojas to End the Game at the Dish than Jazz to step up 1 last time. A by product of Batting LAST In You're Lineup.

Poteet starting a Game for the first time since August 3rd when in Rehab @ Jax. First start in Bigs since June 24 (against WSH coincidentally). Easy to forget Poteet's first 3 MLB Starts looked like this: 2-0, a 1.06 ERA, 17 IP, just 2 BB's before Blister issues showed up in Bos.

10 Year Anniversary 2007. It was pretty cool to see the Marlins wear a patch commentating '97 in '07. I remember the Throwback Jersey Game against the Indians of all Teams. When the likes of the late Darren Daulton, and I even wanna say Bobby Bonilla was there Pre-Game too.

Fish have Lost 9 in a Row @ Home and 12 of the last 14 in the Depot. Losses include to the Angels, Pirates, Rangers, and Reds. This is absolutely embarrassing. 10 Games Under .500 and in the exact same spot they were in 5 years ago, year 1 of a Rebuild. With Zero Offense.

Joey Wendle since JUNE 30TH: .167/.194/.226 .420 OPS Those are some horrid numbers. Wendle, a Marlins leader, can really benefit from a mental break. Jacob Amaya is Swinging it well at AAA, and I heard his defense ain't too shaby. Fish SHOULD mix some things up at Shortstop.

You know I've seen some pretty bad Teams in this Franchise's History over a long period of time. '13, '18/'19 come to mind. But I don't think I've seen one as absolutely pathetic as this. Completely unwatchable Baseball Club. And yes, most importantly, PATHETIC ⚾️.

Since April 7th. 9 Starts combined. 2-5, 6.82 ERA. 55 Hits allowed in 42.2 IP. 52 K's to 19 BB's (Mostly Cabrera). The Marlins are an incredible 4-5 in those 9 Starts, and find themselves over .500 overall. However, they're gonna need their numbs. 1-3 Starters to pick it up.
