Summit Push: 2am start in dangerous weather conditions. Wind speeds of 90kms/hr with a feel of -40 C. At 6300 metres , just short of summit (6,476 m), I developed severe pain in toes with little sensation. To prevent permanent damage from frostbite, I had to abort. @UHNMCharity

Just completed a gruelling 8 day trek, walking 110 kilometres in the Annapurna circuit of the Himalayas. Trek included climbing to the Thorong La pass - one of the highest mountaineering pass in the world at 5,416 metres (17,769 ft) and Tilicho Lake at an altitude 4,949 metres.
