Genuinely baffled as to the opposition to the stadium investment. Do objectors think that the money they deposit in (e.g.) Natwest just stays in a vault waiting for them to withdraw it? If the bank’s experienced board sees a return here & Gib gets a stadium, what’s the issue?

11 months ago Vox didn’t have a single seat. They now have 52 in the Congress. As a Jewish Gibraltarian, the rise of far-right parties is worrying. History is full of instances where such politicians have caused atrocities. It repeats itself unless we do something to stop it.

GUILDFORD Guildford is another great example of Labour standing no chance of being elected but being in a position to help the Lib Dems. Here the Tories are on 44%, Lib Dems at 39% and Labour at 9%. Actively supporting at @ZoeFranklinLD however, could turn that around 7/17

Just submitted over 30,000 words in essays to complete my UCL law undergrad. Of special interest was one of my dissertations on integration which saw me interview 3 CMs, MPs & obtain previously classified & secret docs from the U.K.’s Foreign Office. The waiting game now begins..

ST IVES Down South in St Ives, the Tories are at 46%, Lib Dems 40% and Labour 10%. The obvious implication of Labour standing here is that they may be facilitating the re-election of a Tory MP. Supporting the Lib Dems here could provide the 7% needed to change that 6/17

Excellent interview by @FabianPicardo on #BBCNewsNine . Discussed Brexit & Gib and made it clear that if sovereignty is raised by Spain they know “Gibraltarians close their files, get up and go away from the talks”. Our sovereignty doesn’t depend on the Spanish Elections result.

If they don’t do so, and a Tory majority and Brexit occurs, ppl will look back at this and question why such a golden opportunity was missed. With both parties &/or their voters co-operating, that majority can be stopped and a People’s Vote held in 2020 15/17

The rhetoric and hate speech used by #VOX and their supporters is an evil that has to be stamped out. We cannot sit idly as hateful messages are promulgated and Gibraltar is slandered. See hate speech, insults or the usual VOX diatribe? Report it and get it removed #TakeAction

SOUTHPORT Is another key example of a split leading to a Tory MP. Currently Conservatives are at 46%, Labour 31% and Lib Dems 23%. If the Lib Dems would encourage Labour voting here, it may be enough to get @LizSavagelabour over the line. 5/17
