I have always believed that our nation was founded as a constitutional republic, namely because democracies do not have any written constitutions, nor do they have any codes of law. In a democracy, it is rule by the majority. In a constitutional republic, it is rule by law.

I love Texas. It is where I was born and raised, and God has been good to me here. And though I love America, I love Texas even more. I'm hated by my high school classmates because I love Texas. My high school class was made up of Hispanics, many of whom were illegally here.
