I have a wonderful Landlord. This Somali gentleman has become like a father to me. He trusted me with his house for 11 years. When I couldn’t make rent, he would say - “if you have food, then all is well my brother Sam.” I’m really grateful for his generosity. Alhamdulillah!

A driver who refused to plead guilty was asked to produce evidence, such as photos, to prove he did not pick up passengers on the road. He was essentially being told he was guilty and had to prove his innocence. Aren't the police the ones supposed to prove the accusation?

I sleep very well on flights. On a long flight from the US to Kenya, I sat next to a Kenyan lady studying to be a doctor. Unprovoked, she shared her favourite part of the job was CPR, saying she loved the sound of the chest bones breaking. I stayed awake all the way home.
