Even though the pictures may tell a slightly different story, our Senior's have been making the most of the better weather and have been exploring our local community.
Our final Halloween themed competition today was our best dressed pupil. Our winners are D from Arran class and Z from Blue class. They were both delighted to receive their prizes from Mr Buggy.

Our pupils have worked so hard designing Christmas jumpers! They are helping to make our hall look festive and are ready for Mr Buggy to judge. Reminder that Christmas Jumper Day is tomorrow too - any donations are appreciated. 🎄
L & R have been volunteering in the garden of Dalkeith Country Park 3 hours per week in order to achieve their Saltire Award. So far the weather has been extremely kind!
These wonderful young people are our school leavers 2022. They have spent time at Garvald in Mayfield where they have enjoyed experiencing a range of workshops. They made 'thank you' cards to show their appreciation.
L in Islay class has been presented with her Saltire Award for wider achievement in recognition of her gardening work carried out at the community garden in Dalkeith Country Park. Well done L, we are all very proud of you!
Our P1’s made fruit scones yesterday. They measured out each ingredient, demonstrated excellent turn taking skills when making the dough and these were the finished scones! Delicious ⭐️
B did some amazing painting today as he made hand-print witches for Red class' Halloween window display! We can't wait to see how your window looks! 🎃🎃
We were delighted to be able to attend the Young Ambassadors conference today at Tynecastle Stadium. Well done L for representing us so well and thank you to Steven and Steve for supporting.
We’ve been exceptionally lucky to have multiple classes visit Roman Camp Holdings where we’ve enjoyed up close visits with a range of animals. A lot of rich learning with staff enjoying themselves too! 🐐🐂
I’ve had the most wonderful day walking on the beach south of Edinburgh with the rambling group of

School. Walking is such a tonic for kids with special needs (their parents enjoy it too)

Pink Class enjoyed their Autumn Scavenger hunt where we looked for natural signs of Autumn. We even came home with a few extra class members in the form of mini-beasts!
