Watching the video of VP Harris at her campaign HQ and I kept thinking... we've never seen anything like this. A fully vibrant, gen-x leader (no quibbles), a woman at her peak, well experienced, positive, kind, and sharp as a tack. Something big has changed. I want this future.

@cmclymer 21 years in and exactly this thread...been out for 8 years now and I can still close my eyes and know every piece, sequence of that weapon, every step in clearing a building, how to move to contact, every single detail. One does not joke about nukes. One does not "play" at POTUS.

Exceptional thread. I often think of Ursula K. Le Guin saying "We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings". The point is--systems that seem immutable, aren't. SCOTUS can change.

2. This is why we should expand the Court to 13. It was set to 9 when there were 9 districts. Now there are 13, so fairness and precedent makes the expansion logical. "Radical" is to keep it this small. Let's add meaningful American representation to the Court ASAP. 18/
