I want to thank our coaches and Athletic Trainer Tammy Pollack for keeping our athletes safe and healthy. We are lucky to have them here at the Junior High!
Led by Emily J. (19), The 7th grade girls' gold basketball team defeated Western Brown 79-4. Each member of the team scored, and Marley B. (14), Lilly D. (13), and Delilah (12) rounded out the strong offensive production.
It's no holiday break for these Lady Aves. Rachel led the 8th grade girls' gold basketball team with 15 and Emma had 11. Maura played incredible defense against their best player and had 8. Ceci shot the ball well with 6 against a tough Western Brown squad.
Boys' soccer finishes off a tremendous season at 7-2-2 with another shut-out against a staunch Mariemont team on the pitch here at SJH 2.0. Congratulations, coaches and players!
7th grade girls' VB 🏐 goes undefeated in day one of the GMC tournament! One victory away from the finals. Competition picks up again on Tuesday. Way to go, lady aves!

In last night's action, the Lady Aves took home the win against a Indian Hill. Emma had 21, Rachel had 11, and Haruka was tenacious on defense! We also appreciate the support of our 8th grade boys' teams at all of our home games – it makes a big difference for the girls!
7th grade gold girls' basketball defeated Rapid Run 51-3. Defense was key again. In their first 3 games, the Lady Aves have allowed a total of 8 points! 8! Everyone contributed on offense. Delilah led the scoring with 16 points and Harper had 14.
Before the weekend, had to take care of biz @ Xason. 1/11 in girls' open! 2/19 in boys' team! 3/17 in girls' team & 4/12 in boys' open! Tremendous day! Top ten finishes for Joey P.(2), James S.(4), Addison T.(5), Libby C.(6), and Ariana H.(10)!
In what was the first of what will be at least two (or three) more highly competitive contests, the gold VB team split with Xason today. 7th grade won in 3 sets. 8th fell in two (29-31, 17-25). A big shout out to Mason for their tribute to Coach Villani. Incredibly classy!
We have record breaking news!! At the Milford Diving Invitational, Oliver won 1st place AND broke the 3 dive school record with a score of 141.00!! Congratulations!
How about 'dem 7th grade girls' gold basketball players holding Fairfield to 3 second-half points and improving to 2-0! Harper and Abby led the offense with 16 points and 11 points, respectively.
