Artists, our profession is under siege. I can no longer encourage new artists to persue a career in arts. As a hobbie? Go for it! It's fantastic to create worlds! As a job? It's increasingly clear that a growing amount of companies no longer see value in human made work.

Itโ€™s really depressing to see an Arts Educator take this stance. The AI โ€œiterationsโ€ are not only unethically scraped from other creatives they also have too much confusion and too much design mistakes. Itโ€™s completely frakensteining his original sketch.

I firmly believe that AI generated art or writing should not be stealing from artists. Instead: hire or buy the rights to use artists work to train those softwares. Our personal work is not free real estate. Shit should have rules and accountability.
