- Signal Differences - Now this is a bigger difference, the signals on the D-Pad are different for each version. EU is "Nice!" and "To me!" while NA is "Booyah!" and "C'mon!". Personally I think the NA localisation feels better to use as "Nice!" feels too formal.

- Spyke - Spyke in the EU version speaks more plainly to the player, whilst the NA version speaks in a Cockney Accent. This is a difference that completley threw me off as an EU person because Wave 1 of the DLC sticks to the NA version of Spyke.

- Match begin/end dialogue - The words used for the beginning of a match for EU is "Let battle commence!". Whilst NA is "BATTLE TIME!". And The words used for the ending of a match for EU is "Stop battling!". While NA is "GAME".

- SALTSPRAY TC & RM - Spray RM is a stallfest on this map as you can get lead, then camp with RM for the entire game. TC's route was horrid & it is hard to make a meaningful push as long range weapons are dominant. There are too many problems to list off in a single tweet.

- General spelling differences - The smallest changes made between the 2 versions are how certain words are spelled. such as EU: E-Litre 3k vs NA: E-Liter 3k. This is understandable because both versions of the english language have different ways to spell various words.

It is easy to tell that many of the earlier splatoon 1 maps were not designed with Tower control and Rain maker in mind. It makes sense as Rain maker and Tower control were in fact introduced as DLC.

There are more differences than this of course, and Splatoon 2 onwards the EU localisation would be near identical to the NA localisation. What localisation are you familiar with and which one do you prefer overall?

- BLACKBELLY RM - Blackbelly's layout for RM allowed for extremely fast knockouts due to the layout. They removed it for this reason as it felt unfair and unfun for the defending team (Blackbelly will later be one of the first maps to get reworked in splatoon 2.)

- PORT MACKEREL TC - Port TC got banned due to how overall how poorly designed the map was for this mode, it is essentially a long corridor where specials such as wail and subs such as wall can just completely shut down any attempts of a push.

- Piranha Pit RM - Piranha pit RM got banned because its layout/podium placement made it also extremely easy to stall the rainmaker with for the entire match. This was a consistent problem with Splatoon 1's rain maker game mode.

You touch a pixel of enemy ink and you can't move, your on the verge of death and you have gained 10 diseases and you have to sacrifice stealth jump for inkres because inkres is a shoe exclusive main ability

Tower control has no checkpoints, rain maker has no checkpoints AND it doesn't reset automatically if left unpopped (causing stallfests) Zones is.... Nearly the exact same (except you can't see how painted it is on the UI)
