Dear national media -- Celina is not near Dayton. It's several counties away and isn't a suburb. The storm that produced the tornado in Celina was different than the storm near Dayton.

If you're more of a visual learner, the last time we had a storm of this magnitude was in 2014. Rural roads were transformed into this. Plan accordingly, have fun and be safe tonight. Be where you want to be by no later than 6pm if you don't want to get caught in the heavy stuff.

It’s 36 degrees right now in Toledo. Starting now the temperature starts dropping. It won’t stop until Wednesday late morning. The wind chill will drop 60-70 degrees between now and then. No hype, just facts.

I get why it's easy to go after the meteorologist. But when the atmosphere presents the potential for severe weather, I'll give a heads up every time. Doesn't always work out but I'll always give a heads up when there is a chance. Tonight still has that chance.

*Breaking* - Toledo just tied an ALL-TIME record with 19" of snow on the ground at one time. This ties the record set in February of 1978, following the Blizzard of '78 and several additional snow fall events.
