@Koonzoo1 I discovered I was a zoo in my early teens and really struggled with it. Later I discovered the furry fandom at 16 and fell heavily into it. Not only did it help me find out who I was, but also find others just like me. Zoo made me furry, furry made me accept myself. ♥️

@zoeyzetadog If I didn't have a recognizable fursuit and regularly attended cons I'd be way more open. I want to meet and mingle with others without any harassment. Alternatively I'd just get a group of zoo friends to attend with, but it's so hard meeting others.

@HuskeeeDog Awhile back people pushed FWA to ban zoos. A group of furry lawyers chimed in and said that would open up the con to defamation lawsuits if they banned people based on accusations. Fines and defense fees would bankrupt any con. This seems like legal damage control to me.
