Andrew Marr was appallingly rude and ill-mannered towards the Prime Minister on the #Marr show. It sounded more like a 1970s police interview. If Marr has no respect for @BorisJohnson , he could at least respect the office he holds. Our broadcast media is a shambles these days.

The fact remains that the basic DNA of the British people barely changed for thousands of years up to the 1950s. We had evolved into a close-knit, homogeneous society, Christian, staunchly-monarchist with a strong sense of nationhood. To cast that aside is a grievous mistake.
