Watched Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear speak on MSNBC a few moments ago. He is, by far, one of the most measured, thoughtful politicians I’ve ever heard speak. He is religiously on message, reassuring, and incredibly affable. Kentuckians made the right call last year.

I've been following southern politics for a long time. A lot of pain and heartbreak over the years, but since 2015, I've seen Louisiana elect a Democratic governor, Alabama elect a Democrat to the U.S. Senate, and now Georgia elect two Democrats to the U.S. Senate. What a ride.

I’m in awe of what Sen. @DougJones achieved in such a short time. 22 bipartisan bills passed in a Senate controlled by the opposing party. Few, if any, freshman have been capable of such a feat. Alabama loses a statesman, but I’m confident Jones will soon find new ways to serve.

Both my grandparents voted for Vice President @JoeBiden this morning. My grandmother, an Independent, was a devout Buttigieg supporter until he dropped out. My grandfather, a Democrat, was a fan of Klobuchar from the moment she got in. Both decided to back Biden to “stop Bernie.”

Hundreds, if not thousands, of hardworking volunteers, staff, and Democratic Party officials worked their tails off to get @VanDrewForNJ elected last year. A party switch would be an absolute slap in the face to them and to Van Drew’s #NJ02 constituents. This would be shameful.
