Seeing a lot of goths about again, which is bad news. Goths are the harbinger of recession whether its the 2008 recession, the 1980s recession or 5th century Rome and the collapse of the empire. They may not be the cause but they are the warning we should heed

So the state IS capable of delivering homes at 60% below market rates but it's still leasing homes off vultures 3× that and swallowing the cost Maybe they never should have used NAMA for the largest transfer of wealth from citizens to capitalists while making homes unaffordable

So that's why they're leaving billions unspent. The way this government bends over backwards to serve polluting industries putting billions aside during a housing crisis and with a collapsing healthcare system to pay fines for polluters is fiscal common sense

Irish taxpayers will have to fund up to €8 billion in penalties for missing 2030 emissions targets, not the corporations or sectors doing the polluting. Confirmed on ⁦ @RTECountryWide ⁩ by Climate Council chairperson.

🤔 Using your position as an elected councillor to facilitate the transfer of public assets to your spouse isn't really a personal matter though It raises questions about the Niall Collins judgment, trustworthiness and if he could use his position as a minister for similar gain
