It’s sad that the Minister is rowing back on the commitment to introduce a Promise Bill in this parliamentary session, it will now “be dependent on wider pressures on the legislative calendar”.
Sounds like they are taking step one on dropping it.
Saturday marked the end of my Recess Surgery tour, and it was fantastic meeting so many of you across our communities. Hearing your concerns directly is invaluable as I continue representing you in Parliament. As always, if you need any support or assistance, please don’t

, we recognise the importance of breaking the silence around menopause. It's time to ensure women receive the support and understanding they need at work, home, and in healthcare.
Menopause is different for everyone.
Women can experience a range of psychological and physical symptoms.

I was glad to speak with That's TV to raise concerns about the funding being directed towards teaching gender identity in primary schools. Our children deserve an education that focuses on core skills and age-appropriate learning, not on ideology. We need a common-sense approach
"They need to get support, I totally understand that, but this ideology to teaching in the early years is not acceptable.
@RozMccall
has raised concerns over funding towards charters teaching gender identity to primary school children.
The SNP are giving £12.5million of taxpayers' money to education programmes in Africa.
When money is tight, they should be putting every penny available into fixing the mess they've made of Scottish education – not spending it on schools overseas.
The SNP is withholding funding for Scottish schools, forcing councils to make harsh choices, yet somehow finds £12.5m for education programs abroad? This isn’t putting Scotland’s kids first - our teachers and children deserve better!

The Scottish Government has agreed to spend £12.5m to fund education programmes in Malawi, Rwanda and Zambia.
It comes as most Scottish councils explore education cuts such as reducing classroom hours.

Standing up for women's rights should never lead to suspension. This nurse is right to raise concerns about maintaining single-sex spaces in the NHS, and it’s deeply concerning that NHS Fife is trying to silence her with secret hearings. We need transparency and accountability,
Saddened to hear of the passing of Alex Salmond. Although I didn't serve with Alex in Parliament, I had the chance to meet him, and know the impact he had on Scottish Politics. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
📄 Today, I've written to Jenny Gilruth MSP, urging her to reconsider the decision to withhold £145m from councils. This short-sighted move hurts essential services for children and young people, undermines local democracy and ignores the recommendations made by COSLA. Scotland’s
Good follow up from

who asks about the role of LGBTYS in pushing this in schools.
Such inadequate replies from
@JennyGilruth
who seems to think the charter awards do great stuff (what appointing 4 year olds as LGBT champions?)
📢 Once again, the SNP Government avoids accountability by withholding £145m from councils over a teacher numbers dispute and announcing it just as Parliament goes into recess! This move is forcing councils to make even deeper cuts to crucial services, hurting our communities

is absolutely spot on! John Swinney’s weak stance on crime is failing our communities. We need a First Minister who will stand up for victims and ensure that dangerous criminals are kept off our streets. 🚨
It’s just common
Under the SNP's soft-touch justice system, rapists, killers and child abusers already get out of jail early.
Now they could released from prison even earlier.
