Just found out today that my cancer is triple-positive... which means it's a very aggressive type of breast cancer. I have to wait another week to see my surgeon, and then who knows how long until I start treatment. Feels like my time's running short...

Had a good appointment with my surgical oncologist this morning. My prognosis is good - and it looks like I'll be starting chemotherapy within the next few weeks.

Update: I'm officially diagnosed with a Grade 3 invasive ductal carcinoma with metastatic adenocarcinoma in my axilla. Next week I will find out if I have any more metastases to worry about. Keeping my fingers crossed!
