How do you think colors should be ranked based on strength?
the colors are : white, blue, yellow, red, purple.
Im making the unit levels, there will be many levels for the unit, and corresponding to each color.

I am developing a map editor to use in building upcoming campaign maps.
This editor will also let players use it to create custom maps.
A special thing that can edit the map even while the game is running, seems fun? Is it possible to develop a gameplay like worldbox?
Complete 2 systems on the same day:
- Allows upgrading all walls similar to Age of Empire.
- Allows upgrading each tower, each tower can follow different way. Similar to Tower Defense games.

Yes, this game is inherently RTS but focuses on tower defense. It can be said to be a mix between RTS and tower defense.
Besides building towers and upgrading. You also need to build a strong economy, and build a strong army
Would you suggest me the Icon color and Body Overlay color for each buff/debuff?
These are the 7 buff/debuff states in the game, respectively:
- Cold (moving slow) - Aqua Blue
- Freeze (attack slow) - Dark Blue
- Stun - Orange
- Poison - Green - Lime
- Moving fast - Yellow

Thank you for your suggestion. The game will have 45 units with completely different mechanics. It will create a chaotic battle and look fun. Players will use the army combinations they like best.

I think making games is getting harder and harder to survive because there are more and more games and you have to compete with previous good games.
So making a quality game is really a huge risk. The survivor trend is quite easy to do, so the risk is lower.

I used GM since 5.1 version which is more than 15 years and now still the best game engine for me. (I tried other engines too)
After very long time, GM still keep the simple workflow, easy and smart structure always make me make game easy like breath.

Yeah a lot of people said itre mind Warcraft 2.
However we took inspiration from Warcraft, Age of Empire series.
My art style are clean, minimal and colorfun which could be similar to Warcraft2 but all unist , buildings are unique as we learn almost from Medieval time.

Im trying to create replayable mechanic driven in my rts game. it not just have main mode like other rts but also have other 20 different game modes and each of them have different procedurally generated map.

I used it more than 15 years. for me making with gm is like breath.
of course complex tasks will be hard but most of time no engine make me feel like game maker. i just coding it like breath.
Upgrade Popup of the game. So each type of upgrade will have Tiers to upgrade.
Upgrades not only change the stats but also add new effects to the building.
There are also rare upgrades that can only be found by doing quests, rare treasures.

I'm designing campaigns follow rogue-like trend and need your feedback.

But beside main modes, we also have 20+ different modes, each mode can stand as a new RTS game too.
And with procedurally generated maps for main mode and custom modes, we are aimming to make it have alot of replayability.
