My childhood friend, Cindy, died from COVID today. She was an RN at our nursing home, which has an outbreak. I am heartbroken to lose my friend, but even more for her husband & son. She was younger than I am. Devastating. 💔 Take COVID seriously & #WearADamnMask

@nursekelsey My friend’s mom has Alzheimer’s but was physically healthy; she caught COVID before the facility vaxxed the residents. As of today, her O2 & vitals continue to worsen and she’s now on hospice. I know she’ll finally be at peace, but if only they’d vaxxed her in Oct…🥺
