💥Key takeaway💥 By wishing to create a more forward deployed military, the government cannot reduce by a division's strength the Army, and still expect to maintain current commitments, but increase them in addition. This will only lead to capabity gaps & reduce retention.

With news that the Admiral Makarov has been struck by Ukraine, one of the consequences for Russia losing the Moskva was it's ability to provide C2 & defence to the Baltic Fleet, likely leading to more attacks on Russian vessels

My comments in @thetimes regarding the Moskva: "As well as an ageing platform and sensors, the lack of a layered air defence system ultimately led to the ship’s sinking by Ukraine" @larisamlbrown @Civitas_UK

'As much as the leaked tapes might reveal the dissent within “billionaire Moscow”, it is ultimately defeat on the battlefield that will bring Putin’s barbarous war against Ukraine & Europe to an end – and with it his own rule' My latest for @Telegraph

@BWallaceMP "The only option when Iran and Russia hit, I have concluded, is to hit back twice as hard and not stop until they get the message” Finally someone who is speaking sense & not cuckholding Israel. You don't achieve peace through de-escalation.

'The time has come to reverse the decline of the British military, and re-learn the doctrine of lethality' Discussing how short-sighted the defence cuts were only 12 months ago for @TheCriticMag - & how now surely these must be reversed.

Grateful to be speaking on @LBC this morning straight after former British Ambassador to Afghanistan @NicholasK111 w/ @AndrewCastle63 Asked whether it was personal for me having served in 🇦🇫 seeing the wholescale rollback of women's freedoms; it should be personal for everyone.

Proud to have agreed a historic 🇬🇧-🇯🇵 trade deal with @moteging . This is a great deal for Britain, going beyond EU-Japan in key areas like digital & data, financial services and food & drink. A British-shaped deal that delivers for the whole country.👇

5️⃣ Warrior will not be upgraded. Instead, will remain in service until Boxer fully rolled out - now hoped to be by 2025 latest. Huge capability gap between the two platforms - while no longer an IFV & lacking the punch and survivability of Warrior, Boxer will deploy far easier.

This represents three concurrent actions. 1. 🇬🇧 is still #1 international partner for 🇺🇦 2. 🇺🇸 have taken a backstep - politically as well as militarily. 3. 🇩🇪 remain the absolute cucks of Europe. End.
