Make no mistake, this is racial profiling against the military's largest demographic, and historically those who have fought and died the most in our nation's wars.
I simply *cannot* wrap my head around this.

I am 36. By no means a fossil. What relevance age (*experience) is here I'm unsure. I digress.
Two observations, and they're just my opinions. But opinions based on 16 years (continous & current) infantry service.
1. It just looks shit.
I must confess I find the harrumphing from some quarters, and ongoing inabilty to realise that the RN has managed the NBCD threat with beards for decades by some people hilarious.
It is sad that grown men are so snowflake like that they are triggered by this new policy.
Wow. Not sure where to start with this.
1. Do you really think the TB care 'the world is watching'? Did they care when executing surrendering Afghan troops? Did they care when selling children as wifes to their fighters? Did they care when installing Haqqani network in power?
The President is to be commended for the clarity of purpose of his statement on Afghanistan and his action. The Taliban must know the world is watching its actions. We are concerned about reports regarding the Taliban’s brutal treatment of all Afghans, especially women and girls.

My views for
@SkyNews
over the reduction of British Army personnel to 72,500 by 2025, which will only lead to serious questions of how the army will be able to sustain the commitments envisioned in the Integrated Review 👇🏻
💥Key takeaway💥
By wishing to create a more forward deployed military, the government cannot reduce by a division's strength the Army, and still expect to maintain current commitments, but increase them in addition. This will only lead to capabity gaps & reduce retention.
BLUFF: It looks scruffy as hell, & undermines standards & discipline & the notion of an individual conforming to the institution - something called 'service', which shocker this generation don't seem too bothered about.
Regrettably HM the King outranks me so I'll put up.

"Ukrainian forces are allowing initial Russian armoured columns to move seemingly unimpeded and then hitting their weaker logistics echelon. Those which have advanced are being cut off from supplies" - hence a lot of the shortages seen.
For anyone still foolish or nieve enough to still believe sanctions may alter
#Putin

No longer to deter - but now to punish. Nothing less than a complete stranglehold on Russian economy.
- Ranger Regiment to be established as soon as this August - first deployments to Somalia 🇸🇴 & Mozambique 🇲🇿 early 2022.
This reflects UK government wising to increasingly confront both Russian 🇷🇺 & Chinese 🇨🇳 influence across Africa.
