The new Supercharger dispensers are worse for Tesla drivers:
1. The cables are heavier
2. The cables are less flexible and make it difficult to bend the cable and place the plug where you want it
3. The grip of the holster makes the plug fall onto the ground and gets snow/dirt
Tesla Service booth at the supercharger. You can buy key fobs , get cabin air filter changed, CCS port upgrade etc. also they have a Powerwall.

EVs in winter:
- Idle and heat the car without fumes
- Keep the heat on while you do errands
- Fill up at home, no need to detour to a gas station
- Quick traction control (in-motor in this case)

Good charging curve all the way (0-30% at 170+ kW) with a 60 kWh battery, you’ll be ready to go in no time. Even better if you start at 10%, then you’ll get 170kW all the way to 50%, it seems.
High efficiency, every kWh is worth more in
Innlandsporten “V4” site. Cables mostly on the ground, in the snow. The cables get stiff and they fall out of the holster.

Tesla supercharger service. Replacing cable with broken button. Talked with the guy. They had one stall down in the whole of Germany and that’s it getting fixed today. They have regional service teams doing preventative maintenance. Super cool!

Talked with the owner of a parallell-imported F150 Lightning in Norway.
Owner has 9000km on it already and loves it. No issues yet. Does not charge on V4 with the CCS1-CCS2 adapter. Apparently being "upgraded" to CCS2 now.
Posted with approval of the owner.

With EU considering mandatory payment terminals on EV chargers, this is a step in the right direction for Norway. Also convenient for people traveling from abroad.

Congrats to all the
@Ford
EV owners! Welcome to the supercharger network! Over here, everyone has had this ability for a while. Take up as few spots as possible on the lots and do some kickass roadtrips!
Today I’ve taken the press car F-150 Lightning, and drove it across the mountains from Oslo to Bergen.
Congrats to Ford for being first with a real EV truck in Norway (and Europe?).
Videos coming.
I’m driving the Buzz over the mountains, here is a supercharger update! It’s - 20 C now ❄️❄️❄️, this is Gol Supercharger. V2/V3 combined, getting the expected speeds(coldgating)

Thanks to
@Ford_Norge
for letting me borrow the Lightning. Pictures and videos will be posted during this week.
I fell in love with it, during testing.
3M cars on the road in Norway, 120K Teslas in Norway.
4% of all cars on the road are Teslas.
24% of all cars on the road are fully electric.
Both of these are growing rapidly.
Road closures and chaos means that the Tesla superchargers were not available.
@CircleKNorge
had my back! Getting 150kW (as expected, shared), fast handshake. Look at the diversity of EVs.

2023 is over, let's go through car(yes all vehicles) stats for Norway🇳🇴

This fucker used an average 159 Wh per km over a mountain, in the snow, slippery road, studded tires/tyres, with winds, at around 80 km/h.
~60 kWh battery charging at 170 kW at 55%? With a flat curve up to that point.
This thing is not only faster to roadtrip than my Model 3
Model Y RWD BYD is faster to roadtrip than the LR. With a lower WLTP range. Get this one, with some studded tires and you’re good. What an awesome experience.
I don't own Tesla stock, any automotive stock, however I want to discuss something with the Model 3 that I have owned for 2,5 years now:
If you have spent time with car enthusiasts, you might have heard that Teslas are tech focused cars, made by tech people to appeal to other
Craziest Ionity site I have seen so far. The LEDs are a at a good brightness. Looks super refined. 24 ports, 24 chargers, spaced out on 3 zones. Took some pictures. This is in Lærdal, right by the embarrassing Supercharger on a dirt lot, here.

BMW i3S, new EV in the family.
Fantastically fun to drive, RWD, ~160 mile range, heat pump, CarPlay, 50 kW DCFC, rust-proof (CFRP body), 2019 model, imperial blue, Harman Kardon.

can’t wait to see this in Norway. It’s a large for our market, but I’m sure people will use them for heavy duty work and camping rigs. I can see it replacing most fossil trucks.

Mennekes Type 2 connector, modified by Tesla to support DC. Obsolete plug now, but it’s what Teslas came with before CCS2. This is a V2 stall, which were upgraded to support CCS2 later, which is why there’s two connectors.

Back left. Optimized for safer back-in parking, and close to the driver. It is worse for pulling a trailer, however, I think that should be on the charging networks to offer, since the normal condition is that you don't pull a trailer. Design for normal usecases.
44 % of Norwegian houses have a heat pump and increasing rapidly. Heat pumps is just like the typical AC units with the ability to run in reverse as well. They work perfectly fine and efficiently in the winter and cold weather.
There are no subsidies for air-air heat pumps, and

Tesla has had rapid blinking on hard braking and hazards on hard braking for a long time, like the Germans. This is just a visibility update
