Today we encountered one of the most serious incidents we have experienced at the football club. During the vets fixture one of the opposition players collapsed, stopped breathing and did not have a pulse. Our club defibrillator was used to get his heart going again.

We are glad to hear that Nelson is in a stable condition and on the road to recovery.
By sharing this we hope that other clubs consider getting a defibrillator installed if they don’t have one already because we can vouch for it first hand that they save lives.
(3/3)
The actions of Ed Hall, Matt Lloyd, Kane Black, Danny Mizon and Andrea Stratford before the ambulance crew arrived without a doubt saved his life.
A credit to them all who have done the club extremely proud today.

New ground update... Floodlights are up, and the pitch side and car park surfacing is nearly complete. The inside is coming along at a rate now with the first floor bar being installed, and ground floor changing rooms taking shape. 💙💙💙
Seeing all these other step 7 leagues ending their season. Hat off and credit to
@midsussexleague
for resuming the season 🙌 everyone just wants to play football ⚽️
@Ollie_Bayliss
Shout out the groundsman Alan Manning who spends more time maintaining the pitch than you would do if it was grass. It’s underrated how important it is to look after a 3G pitch 🚜 🏟
The club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former Chairman and Manager of Ringmer Football Club Bob Munnery. Bob was an all round top bloke and was well respected in Sussex Football. Sending our love to Debbie, Zoe, Gary and Louis. Rest in Peace Bob 💙🩵
7 weeks after our last fixture the final Mid Sussex Premier table has been released. Well done to Tommy, Jon and the 1st team on winning the tightest league in memory 🏆 💙
@UpperBeedingFC
Pet hate 😡 - if you want sleeves, buy a pair of your own socks, cut them and keep them in your kit bag. It’s like they think the club has an unlimited supply of socks.
After a month of turbulence, the club held its AGM this evening and we are pleased to announce that Mark Hutchings
@mdh2007
has been elected the new Club Chairman.
We couldn’t think of a more keen person who bleeds Ringmer blue to take the role.
Wow thanks for all the messages of support, there’s a real buzz around the place at the moment. It’s been a few years in the making and credit to those individuals who all persevered to get us where we are today - can’t thank them enough! 🙌

We didn’t think it was possible to get any football on today but thank you to the volunteers who gave up their time to clear the ice/snow from the pitch to get this afternoon’s fixture on 😅

The landmark partnership sees the club join with the University’s School of Sport and Health Sciences.
There should be a lifetime ban for club secretaries who register a player in full time using a lower case first letter for a name or putting their whole name in CAPITALS 🤯
CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT: It is with regret that following our decision not to pursue promotion to the SCFL, we have now also accepted the resignation of 1st team manager Oli Gibson.
The club would like to thank Gibbo for his hard work & commitment over the last 10 seasons.
An unusual spectator appeared at the 3s game vs
@PT_FC
today as a Crow descended on coach Oli Gibson’s shoulder midway through the second half. The feathered friend brought the team good fortune overseeing a 10-0 win. The bird even stuck around for a post-match photo! 🐦⬛
Thank you to
@FC1Westfield
and our outstanding official
@BillyWootten
for helping the club pay our respects to former Ringmer FC Chairman, the late Chris Christoff, prior to today’s fixture.💙
Hi
@BHAlbionFC
It appears you mistakenly took one of our match balls on Friday night and are playing with it today v
@hollingtonlions
.I understand this is likely a genuine mistake given it’s bright yellow with AFC Ringmer written on it. Please get in touch to return it, thanks 👍
Manager Ryan Reid would love to announce his 1st signing for the club. Rhys Taylor joins us after successive seasons at local club Hailsham Town. Rhys will add to Reidys attacking options, adding great flair and is determined to contribute plenty of goals & assists. Welcome Rhys!
Ringmer 4-3 Westfield
A hat trick from MoM Callum Connor, and a late headed winner from Luke Turner secured three points in an all action game that saw a battling Westfield draw level three times. A good watch for the neutral and a vast improvement on last week.
It was a pleasure to see Nelson Friday night and lovely that he had a chance to catch up with Andrea, Ed and Kane who played a big part in resuscitating him a few weeks back ❤️
2010/11 - we play our last season at our 3rd different home ground Sussex Uni, this is followed by seasons at Plumpton College, Malling, Lewes 3G and groundsharing with Ringmer FC.

♥️APPRECIATION POST♥️
Our very own Mr Worldwide, Mark Hutchings. Mark is the new Ringmer AFC Chairman but has been a part of the club since it’s beginnings. Having first been a player for AFC Ringmer, followed by a coach for Ringmer AFC and now chairman. Thanks for everything H!
The season may have only concluded last night, but the team are already onto their list of summer jobs including this outstanding pitch maintenance work from Super Alan Manning! 🚜🌪
Results come 2nd today, unfortunately we called out an ambulance twice for serious injuries to a
@TheViewFC
player and then a
@PolegateTown
player in the late kick off. We wish them both a speedy recovery. Shout out to Nick Leftley who administered first aid to both players👏
2nd signing of the evening is Harry Hughes.
Harry signs from Eastbourne Town U23s having also played for Hailsham Town.
He has added real quality in midfield, great on the ball, and has contributed to goals in pre-season.
Really pleased to have him part of the squad 🔵⚪️💙
The club are delighted to announce that we have been awarded FA Charter Standard status.
This is another step towards securing quality football provision in the local area.
