Holy Crap I made it to France !
Couldn't be more happy to finally get here after what has been a rollercoaster of the last 14 months.
Can't get the smile off of my face right now.
I am so so psyched and proud to announce that I will be racing for the new team, Premier Tech U23 Cycling Project! Looking forward to another year of the French life and racing around the world. I am very thankful for everyone making this happen.
"it's a long way to the top of you want to rock 'n' roll" -some drunk guy singing ACDC in the middle of the night during San dimas when I was 15. Feels similar to where I am now at tour of Colombia and amazed at the level the race is at.
First you make it world Tour.. then most conti teams go... Then you abandon it. Really hurts to see this happen with ToC and the north American racing scene.
Would love to be tweeting about a bike race I have just finished, but this will do. Thankful I can learn a few more ways to fall in love with the bike.
The only way I can describe how excited I am for the rest of the season and opportunities coming up is like this,
I ordered a small milkshake and got an extra large.
Yeah I'm psyched.
What if when a athlete tests positive for a banned substance the rest of their years salary goes directly to WADA? Good incentive to not cheat and helps out anti doping.
Really curious to find out why the Belgian waffle rides are on the same day as some of the US's bigger road events that have been around for much longer. Could be just a unfortunate coincidence 🤷♂️
Mid ride Daydreaming/visualizing racing makes my HR go up so much. Funny to look at the file after the ride and see the HR go up but everything stay the same.
Excited to race...
Feels good and really weird to ride without shoe covers and gloves. Sadly if it's above 45° in winter in Boulder we get some narly winds. I'll take it though.
