Heart Update: When I was in hospital, my heart had swollen to dangerous levels. Today, at my 3 months check up, I’ve been told it’s now not only down, but in completely normal size range. So my heart isn’t as big, but it works, damnit! ☺️☺️☺️

Today marks 25 years since my mum lost her fight to cancer. While I have been blessed with family, I do hate the fact I never got to hug her, or tell her how much I appreciate her. I can only hope that I'm still making her proud. Love you, mum. ❤️

1 year ago today I was submitted to hospital with an acute heart condition, where I spent 4 weeks there, a cocktail of pills, a diagnosis telling me I may be on my death bed, surgery and another 4 recovering. To say I'm glad to be alive is an understatement. Cherish life. <3

After a VERY rocky week, I got written confirmation today that my last echocardiogram has shown no change for 5 years since my episode that almost gave me a death sentence. As such, I no longer need annual check ups, and am no longer on the high risk list. 🥹
