UPS just delivered a package, sent through the Cavs, by Beth McLeod. In it was a tie, because her late husband Fred loved those. I, along with many members of the media and Cavs organization, will wear it proudly on opening night

NBA games are too often over-analyzed by people who don't understand the sport. The Cavs lost tonight, on the road, to a very good team, after having won a very tough game on the road the night before. The end!

Annual football game between Brunswick and Medina will be called the Tom Fasko Gridiron Classic. Fasko, who died on Oct. 8, 2020 at age 62 following a heart attack, served as head coach at both schools. Teams will meet Friday @BHSGoBigBlue @medinaathletics

The Cavs finished the regular season 39-0 when they led after three quarters, becoming the first team since the advent of the shot clock in 1954-55 to go unbeaten when leading after three. Chicago went 64-1 in 1995-96.

Found out Sunday I will receive Dick Zunt Award at the March 6 National Football Foundation banquet in Westlake. It is given periodically to someone who has devoted many years to covering prep football. Previous winners have included Dan Coughlin, Eddie Dwyer, Don Friedman

Really don't think this series has a ton to do with whether LeBron stays or goes. It's more family vs. bball, and unlike 2010 there's not another place that makes great sense. Wouldn't be surprised if he signs a 1-year deal (with player option), and makes big decision in 2019

Luke Skaljac was a very, very polished point guard when I saw him as a sophomore at @bbhathletics , and he's only gotten better. 32 pts tonight, and they came easy. Already D-I offers from close to a half-dozen D-I colleges with another year to play.
