New Parliament building (US$50M/J$7.5B)should be delayed for more pressing priorities, such as health infrastructure & digitization by improving IT platform & connectivity.. “must do”projects as opposed to “nice-to-do”. When we recover stronger, we can execute the “nice-to-do”.

If the science says lockdown will reduce the virus spread, then let us continue to do it..but reduce the social & economic fallout & crowding by 1.longer business hours on movement days . 2. no half day Friday 3. businesses like tax office and banks should open on Saturdays.

Jamaica owes a massive debt of gratitude to our diaspora..2020 remittances are ONLY down 2% versus last year..87-92% of remittances goes directly to household expenses, including medication..our diaspora has been heroic in keeping our economy and our population above water 🙏🏾
