‘IRON’ Mike Tyson. His ‘peak’ years were around 86’-88’. He’s had many ups and downs and difficulties since then. Mentally he seems in as happier place as he ever has done (from what I can see). NOBODY should be encouraging talk of a comeback of any sort at 53 years old. THE END

You know what’s a bit strange. In an age when nearly all sportsmen give an excuse or reason for a loss, we moan they’re ‘just making excuses’. Josh loses and offers no excuse other than ‘the best man won’ and we decide to go out and look for excuses / reasons anyway! Can’t win..

This seems a pretty harsh punishment. 4 year ban for what was reported at the time as ‘a Trace Amount of Cocaine’ Compare this to some of the PED bans issued lately (in boxing) and it’s hard to understand how these punishments are decided on 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

This is a million miles off. CB failed 2 tests. He attacks both AD agencies (UKAD & VADA) & the Board. He’s presented no actual reason as to how/why he’s tested +’ve. Maybe if he’d have faced the +’ves & actually presented a scientific defence he might be in a better position

Last week the police caught me drink driving. Also got done last month. I failed 2 roadside ‘Breathalyser Tests’. Happy to say the police and courts have let me off as they couldn’t prove how I’d consumed the alcohol!! Sound stupid? Yeah, cos it is! NOBODY can defend this…….

I doubt Brit Boxing ever came closer to melt-down than Khan v Brook. Older boxers. KB at a weight he couldn’t really do, same day weigh-in clause that saw him make a crazy weight a few hours prior to fight & the opponent was juicing. All involved should take a sigh of relief…

‘Adverse Finding’ is just a nicer way of saying you’ve FAILED a Doping Test! I’d prefer we stick with ‘FAILED’ or ‘Positive’. It’s just part of the spin. ‘Adverse Finding’, ‘Trace Amount’, ‘Random Test’ or ‘VADA not Recognised’ are all just a softening of what’s really happened!

Eddie makes a really interesting point here! Makes you wonder how many failures/flags are issued, get appealed & the case never sees the light of day. Begs the question though that shouldn’t there be more transparency around ‘failed/flagged’ tests? Especially in combat sports!?

Sport & Doping in a nutshell.... 🇷🇺 = Dirty Cheating Russian’s!! Putin will stop at nothing to win!! 🇰🇪 = Those Kenyans are all at it!! They come from poverty and it’s their only way out! 🇬🇧 = No way would our guys cheat! They wouldn’t risk ruining their legacy!

Hi mate. No he hasn’t. A ‘sanctioning body’ has said they can’t prove he’s doped (even though he’s failed 2 tests). Any sanction against him will come from a ‘governing body’ or his local Anti-Doping commission (UKAD in this case). Let’s see if they drop the ball Eh?

So, according to TB, all drug cheats should be ‘banned for life’ with a couple of simple caveats…. 1: They’re a mate. 2: The drugs also have another use. So, man, pregnancy, blah blah blah……

Billy, this is a VADA test. It’s the ‘Gold Standard’ in Anti-Doping testing. However, you could get a result that you don’t like! But don’t worry if that happens, you can just ignore it and then threaten to sue everyone!
