I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but in the shots, you can see the top of Tifa's house in Nibelheim, then it disappears once they defend themselves. The Weapons are safeguarding the scene with the Lifestream, ensuring Sephiroth can't destroy what remains of Cloud's memories.

Inserting Aerithโ€™s death into the LS scene is the weirdest hope Iโ€™ve seen thus far. After Cloud regains his memories, he mentions he thinks of Aerithโ€™s passing a lot and eventually go back to where she was killed. There they see the truth in her death. Itโ€™s a beautiful scene.
