The video concept is so loose and vague that you can't "copy" it. They handled the concept of "doing Minecraft achievements" in very different ways. Sapnap took the achievements as they are made to be accomplished in the actual game, while Chrisdacow translated them to real life.

From what I could gather about the currencies and shop, you get your crystal currency by mining the weak and strong nodes, and then you can exchange that currency in the shop. There might be separate currencies depending on which node you mine. (White and Pink crystals)

The armor you can upgrade in this game seems to effect all of your armor pieces except for your helmet, which is a leather helmet dyed to your team color. I think one of the utility items is the "elytra + boost" item shown in the trailer.
