Remember when Nintendo was SO EXCITED to show off the screen's effect.... yet the official spectator went OUT OF THEIR WAY during WORLDS to avoid showing the effect? The special is really cool and the 52d kit is cool, just replace effect with Mario Kart blooper ink and move on.

@ProChara They beat the Splatoon allegations, I'll be playing the beta all weekend. Unpolished but great design. Game overall feels a little slower (which I enjoy) but fights and gameplay will get VERY chaotic. You have to be deliberate with EVERYTHING you do or else you get punished.

Late night Tower Control thoughts: When you are LEADING and CONTROLLING mid, remember to keep tapping the tower. Not only do you get passive special charge, you actively DENY special charge to the enemy (losing) team. Avoid wiping and keep tapping tower to close out the match!

Dash tech for ALL #FOAMSTARS characters!!! Fastest way to move around the map. Can use extra speed after dash to clear bigger gaps. Cancelable into main fire, skills, and reload. (You need max speed to do) Up+left > up+right > jump > (can shoot/ skill/reload immediately after)

The community should at least reassess the purpose of forcing an equal number of maps for every mode. Every tournament ends up with a lackluster map pool because there are not enough quality TC/RM/CB maps. I like playing all modes, but not all modes equally.

@ProChara I used to sit in Halo 3 private battles for HOURS practicing movement and mechanics. I hope Splat 3 provides a better recon mode for those of us without friends. Splatoon movement and options are infinitely more interesting but studying the game is an accessibility nightmare.

Overnighted this controller. MASHING WITH THIS CONTROLLER IS A CHEAT CODE! Still straining on your hand but squeezer shots feel effortless and buttery smooth (weapon is still very difficult). Need to get used to ergonomics on this controller but so far I really like it!

I've played with a lot of new/low level players on SendouQ over the last week. The biggest tip I can give is to talk half as much. Focus on listening to your team and make sure you can process 100% of their comms. Communication exists to build off each other's ideas.

@ProChara Well said, I heavily undervalued the initial paint you get when the decoys drop. Really the only special that provides immediate paint (and cover) in the area you are trying to push. Still requires coordination and commitment to get proper value from the special but good design.

Saddened to see hostility between casual and competitive players. The game and its community should be a safe space for all. Always treat others with empathy and respect. Please. The issue is Nintendo's lack of fair matchmaking for all modes. Focus your negative emotions there.

Going to attempt to stream tomorrow night on the lower end laptop. I want to try and review TEAM matches/scrims. I'm asking for Twitch/YT links or Replay Codes from any comp Splat teams. Scrims/tournaments/sendouQ that are comfortable with me providing feedback live! Thanks!

@Nex_Spl was this before or after the seasonal update? the latest patch (should have) fixed this on many/all of the maps based on the notes
