One of the best bits of lesson feedback I ever received in terms of changing habits was a lesson heatmap. I now do it regularly for staff I coach using their anonymised seating plan and jamboard. Great for noticing patterns and gaps. #tangible #feedback #edutwitter

Teachers who have a classroom: This week, take a moment to appreciate a colleague who doesn't. Nomadic teaching is a different beast. Even better, don't lock all the cupboards, leave the remote control accessible and maybe some spare pens. They can't carry everything.

Teachers: remember that 'live online teaching' does not mean a full lesson of you actively teaching. Set tasks for students to complete independently, give them a time limit and be available for individuals that might need support.

Can we stop with the 'digital natives' tag? Young people may have grown up in an age of digital but it, and their usage has changed rapidly in that time. Don't assume a smartphone user will excel with a mouse or keyboard. Don't assume a gamer will take to spreadsheets.
