Nestle is the absolute epitome of evil and corporate greed. Cerelac wheat-based cereals for six-month-old babies sold by Nestle in France and the UK had no added sugar, while the same product contains over 2 gms per serving in India, 5 gms in Ethiopia and 6 gms in Thailand.

As a doctor who studied about these index in depth in our MBBS (Social and Preventive medicine) it hurts. As a citizen I feel ashamed on the ignorance of our politicians on science and health. Global Hunger index (2023) India ranks 111 out of 125 countries in terms of ‘hunger.

Pleased to learn that not one of the hundreds of staff members - gardeners, sweepers, waiters, cooks - at Tolly Club were laid off, all salaries were paid every month in full, members paid Rs 1000 extra every month despite the club being closed to make sure of this. Some good.
