Big lesson from past revolutions is that once the job is done "the masses must chuck out the leaders. " This is to stop the "I brought you independence/ change" mentality we see with many liberation movements of our time. A mentality that often leads back to authoritarianism.

My experiences with the Zim police today. If you find yourself at the police station, no matter how much you know your rights etc, if you are not a lawyer, be humble, play ignorant, never be emotional, forget about time, call everyone chef, and you will come out OK. 🙏🙏🙏
