Something similar actually does exist as a Special Stage behavior, where there's a rainbow rope placed between them to catch rings. BUT those are ONLY loaded in SS. These 'unused' animations were made SPECIFICALLY for use in normal stages, complete with left-facing variants.

@itzkasuna @Sahiko42 @SSBUNews Encryption is to secure data from being read from outside sources that don't have the key. Compression is to reduce the file size down. While they do encrypt their games, that has nothing to do with reducing the size at all.
