Another “fun” fact - My anxiety about taking my Jewish bf to an Insecure season 2 watch party inspired one of my pilots/writing samples. That sample got me my next four gigs (Robbie, Mixedish, Tacoma fd and love life). So, Insecure has a really special place in my heart.

I had a roommate/friend who was a Black woman who loved the lord of the rings trilogy and in my mind I was like “girl, really?” But I rewatched the fellowship of the ring for the first time in like 20 years and damn if it wasn’t a for real 10/10 and fantasy is my least fave genre
