Just to add a little balance ahead of papal visit. I was educated by the Ursuline nuns from the age of 5-17yrs. I would do it all over again. Please can we give a shout out to the GREAT nuns & priests. Had plenty in my family and they were utterly selfless. Still love those nuns

I’m so very disappointed in this. As someone who books vacations to Ireland, I was genuinely hoping @Corkcoco would embrace this. West Cork & East Cork are great but Cork needed this. People are planning trips with large outdoor spaces & activities in mind. VERY shortsighted .

I think we need to redo our way of grading hotels.. there needs to be a ‘Feel Factor’ clause. Because I how I ‘feel’ with the hospitality at @Dunmorehouse makes it 6 star in my book. No amount of luxury or decor can EVER beat Irish Hospitality. #rachelsrealireland

This news is very bad news indeed for the entire West Coast of Ireland.American Airlines will no longer fly into @ShannonAirport I am currently rerouting itineraries, cancelling hotels and moving them to the East Coast. This is bad for many many parts of Ireland.
