The struggles working women/mothers face start long before a child is born. It starts with the employer reading the gender in the application and immediately starting to think about the possible negative outcome for his company if the applicant wanted to have a child.

Heading home after my grandmas funeral - 96yrs, lived through a lot of what most of us can’t even fathom (the horror of WWII, forced migration (Silesia born), unemployment) Always sharp, kind & witty, with great interest/knowledge in all things history.
