Have you ever been a victim of medical gaslighting? 👀 When I was delivering my daughter, I kept telling the nurses I had a weird pain on my right side. They told me it was pressure. They made me so angry. Turns out during the c-section the doctor had to stitch up my bladder.

I published my debut with a small press and I have ZERO regrets. Even if would have found an agent, there was no guarantee of a contract with a large press. Which means I may have waited years to see my words in print...or worse, I might have shelved the project altogether. (1/3)

Welp, the final agent was a pass. I don't think she read more than a few chapters of the full. It's no joke that agents and editors are expecting pure perfection from authors nowadays. I take solace in my 4.71 GR rating for my debut (which no agent would sign). 🤷‍♀️ #amquerying
