One damage on Prowler may not sound like a lot, but it does reduce a body shot burst from 75 to 70. We considered hitting the hipfire a bit, but after over-correcting with the Hemlok, we’ll take the conservative approach here. (1/6)

Re: the BOCEK and the SPITFIRE Before Legacy launched, we knew the Bow would be strong, and we debated whether or not to even ship it with 70 dmg. We erred on the strong side because it’s a really freakin’ cool weapon and we wanted to make sure y’all gave it a chance. (1/10)

Valk’s "tac hover" was designed to consume fuel at 10% of the normal rate. With ALGS ramping up, we figured we should remove this exception (we found Valks would often take coffee breaks above the final fight in scrims). This will go live on Thursday.

Put in a solid 14 hours on Apex today. Handful of Revtanes, a few phoenixes cancelled with under a second left, but maaannn when you get into a flow state on this game there’s nothing like it. I love Apex, I love you all, and I love that a Seer nerf is coming soon ❤️

Hal running a CAR: "I need light ammo!!!" Teammates: *drop heavy ammo* Hal: 🤯 For Titanfall 2 fans, this CAR definitely isn't a duplicate. It retains its identity as a versatile SMG, but now for different reasons (taking the looting aspect of the BR formula into account).

🔹TT from 2.0 to 1.75, in line with other Marksman. 🔹EVA from 7 to 6. It's much more forgiving than Mastiff/PK, and the damage differential doesn't seem as wide as it should be when considering the others. 🔹Scout needs some extra ammo as the signature mid/long range suppressor.

Many of you may be disappointed we didn’t touch the interrupts or reduce the 8s reveal duration. This is a starting point. Regardless of what the data tells us, if internal and external feedback is any indication, I imagine one of these outputs will need follow-up work. (12/21)

As far as release strength Seer goes, we missed the mark. Players should never feel the need to pick a legend/weapon for an entire season just to compete. Thankfully, we’re a live game and we can iterate on things. (20/21)

I’ll close with my hot take: if you’re frustrated with stagnating skill progression, be honest with a self-evaluation of what YOU could have done better any time you’re sent back to the lobby. Often times taking a 1v1 in an open field against a Spitty is a losing battle. (8/10)

Prowler has the same hipfire properties as the R9, and SMGs should be reliable close range. I think there are smarter ways to further adjust if it still proves to be the de facto cqc option. (2/6)

Seer tac used as a dollar store EMP to farm damage and drain resources was definitely problematic at high-level play. Plus, looking at your health bar and seeing a sliver of it missing for taking damage through walls is a major feels bad. (11/21)

Something I frequently see that I want to address: Why don’t you just buff other legends to be as strong/fun as Octane/Wraith/Horizon? There are a couple reasons: (1) “fun” is subjective, and (2) power creep. (1/9)

Something Seer has made clear that many high-level players already know with BH’s success: real-time info through geo is extremely powerful in a shooter. A lot of players sink thousands of hours into games like Apex to develop a sense of their surroundings. (13/21)

I personally struggle with blaming a weapon, legend, or my teammates… any excuse to deflect responsibility. I gotta be better. Hopefully removing some strength from these two weapons empowers and encourages you to remove some weaknesses from your game. (9/10)

Players soak in every clue they can to predict the enemy’s next move at macro and micro levels. When this is circumvented with something like a reveal, it can feel cheap. (14/21)
